Wonderful fishing trip with Captain Jose and First Mate Aaron.  We had caught large marlin and sailfish in the past here in Cabo and elsewhere and wanted to try inshore or nearshore for other species.  The crew went beyond anything we expected with 5 different species on a half day trip.

1 Cravelle Jack 36” long and 35-40 lbs
10 bonito
1 giant fish that got loose

The lunches they provided were delicious and more than enough.  Absolutely fabulous day on the La Guaycura.

We did a half day with La Guaycura Sports Fishing and we had a blast. We asked to fish for dorado and that is all we caught, it couldn’t have gone better. The 3 of us caught 5 dorado and even saw some whales & dolphins. Our capt. and his crewman (Jose) were as helpful as you could be, all we had to do was sit back, relax, and wait to hook on. Communicating with La Guaycura Sports Fishing was excellent as well, very responsive. Overall a great option for a day on the water.

Captain Cesar was great.  Aron and Hugo were extremely helpful.  Collectively, they were attentive and friendly.  Captain Cesar clearly outlined the fishing plan and what we hoped to catch.  We had a great day.  We saw whales, a sea turtle, and fed a sea lion(in the harbor).  My husband said it was our best fishing trip.  My 12 year old son loved it.  We caught 27 fish and were able to share.  We look forward to returning.  THANK YOU!

We wanted to target yellowfin, so the Captain took to a good area. There were spinner dolphins, birds, good indicators of tuna except the tuna weren’t cooperating. As it was, no tuna were caught by any boats. We did want to catch something so the Captain took us to his favourite marlin area and within 1/2 hour of switching tactics we were hooked up to a Blue Marlin. The experienced crew made it all happen. The fish was a fighter that almost spooled our reel but the Captain and first mate put us in position to slowly gain back our line and eventually bring the Marlin to the boat. We wanted to release the fish and the first mate quickly took the hook out and the Marlin swam away. Then to finish the trip the Captain took us to where he likes to catch Dorado/Mahi-mahi. Within no time we were hooked up and landed 2 Dorado, a few dinners worth of fish for sure. Overall a great day on the water with a very experienced crew who worked hard to fulfill our dreams. Their English was very good especially the first mate which made everything easier for us as they always explained what we were doing.

Had a good time today. Took the PM trip cus we hate getting up so early. :) Captain and Aaron worked so hard today trying to get us some fish.  We did land a 40-inch Mahi and my boys had a blast trying to reel him in. The crew was super nice and very personable. The boat was also nice and was a great deal compared to others I saw advertised.  Jesus answered all of my questions within 5 minutes online, and was upfront about any costs.  Only $25 for bait and the licenses ($17 a piece).  After we got off the boat, a guy cleaned our fish for us.  We gave him most of it, and cooked a little of it when we got home. We had no butter or salt/pepper, but even COMPLETELY plain, it was super delicious!  Highly Recommend this crew.
