Nary a bite. Stayed in one spot where fish weren’t biting all but 10 minutes of trip. Be ready for onslaught of pretty conservative views

We arrived at the bait shop at 5:45 for a 7:00 trip. Grabbed fishing licenses and then followed captain to the dock. The river was high, so I believe it was more difficult, but we were left on the ramp to hold the boat while he set up, warmed up and did his thing. It felt like this could have been done before we arrived. He should have an assistant in my opinion to get you sent off but then just the three of us in the boat. The location and time changed 3 times. It was not private like we paid for. There were no fish and the captain said yeah you won’t catch any until September, come back then. The charter was listed in Sacramento, but we had to meet 2.5 hours from there. The time changed from 7am to 5am to 4:30am. So we had to wake up at 1:30am to be there on time.
