Mahalo Mark for your honesty and also your kind words. I will admit it was a slow day out there but the weather was great and the water conditions were favorable except for the Monk Seal. Im sorry that all the hang-ups got you frustrated but that’s something that comes with fishing over a coral reef and it happens to even the best Hawaiian fishermen. I also didnt mean to give you the impression that I was trying to save tackle because my real concern was leaving as little impact on the ecosystem/environment as possible. I truly hope that at the very least you were able to take away some knowledge on common Hawaiian fishing techniques and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings that we explored.
