Had a great time with Captain Jared of J-Rod Charter. He was great host to my son and I. He was very attentive and helpful, taking care of all the rods, reels, and lures. We caught walleye, northern pike, and a rather big perch. Overall it was a very enjoyable day of fishing that my son and I will remember fondly.

We had an amazing experience with Capt. Jared!  He was so nice and very accommodating!  He is a very personable with a great sense of humor.  His prices were spot on and he even offered to clean our fish!  We are definitely booking a trip with him next year!

My wife and I made the drive from Alexandria Bay to Ogdensburg to go fishing with Jared over the weekend.  Why would you make the drive, I’ll tell you. First of all Jared is a great host and guide.  Friendly and knowledgeable about the baits, fish and the River.  The other equally important reason is to escape the hustle and bustle that you often get in Alexandria bay.  Perfectly quiet and the perfect guide!  Thanks Jared!

What a great day! This is our second trip with captain Jared and I can’t wait for the next one. He is very knowledgeable where the fish are and biting. Lots of huge walleye and small mouth bass couldn’t be happier It.

Jared was awesome!!! He was on time and had a Very clean and well maintained equipment. He explained everything we were doing and made sure we were getting the experience we wanted. Awesome experience and Jared did an amazing job. Only problem we had was time went by too quickly because we were having such a good time!!!!
