I've been on a boat for more than 30 years. It is an honor and a privilege to be a Charter Captain. Self-employed at Aflac for 25 years. Also, I am a professional ring announcer for MMA Pro Boxing. I like all the methods used to hunt the Walleyes. Trolling is more productive but casting is an absolute blast. Just catch fish!

    Great fishing trip. I would highly recommend.

    5 Hour Trip – Walleye • 4 adults • 2 children

    This was a surprise fishing trip for my son who is absolutely obsessed with fishing. He has only ever fished for trout, bass and sun fish up until this trip. He has been asking to go fishing for catfish and that is what we did. He killed it with bringing in 15 catfish and catching his first trophy fish with a 29 ½ inch channel catfish. To say that he was was happy is an understatement. He had the greatest day ever and made memories he will never forget. Captain Paul was phenomenal. He was attentive and patient with my son whp is 12 years old. He didn't just fish for him. He taught him and told how and why he was doing it. We will 100% be booking another trip soon.

    Captain Paul is worth every penny!

    6 Hour Trip • 5 adults • 1 child

    We booked last minute and found Captain Paul to go out for catfish. Paul communicated with me right away to answer some questions we had. Our kids have never landed any fish so I was really hoping that we'd have success. Paul brought two friends of his along, who were seasoned anglers as well, and we had a blast getting to know them while we put our lines in the lake. The results - we pulled in somewhere around 40 fish over the 4 hour trip, which was an incredible outcome. Our youngest landed a 32 inch channel cat, which will qualify her for a Fish Ohio Trophy pin! Thanks to Paul, Cory, and Melinda for making this one for the record books. I've done other private charters before, and this was the best. Great crew, super knowledgeable, amazing with the kids, and the fish were practically jumping in the boat! We'll be back for sure!

    Captain Paul was Exceptional!

    4 Hour Trip - 3:00 PM • 4 adults

    I took my 15 year old son and his best friend, they both have had recent personal losses, Captain Paul poured all of his kindness and expertise into these boys. He not only taught them the correct way to set up gear, real the fish in, everything was safety first! He shared with us the history of the islands and was very entertaining! We had to end our trip a little early because a storm was approaching, we all worked to get the gear in properly and quickly. He was great at doing what he does and it was a very enjoyable experience!

    Fantastic Fishing Trip

    5 Hour Trip – Walleye • 3 adults

    We booked a day of Walleye fishing, however with the weather forecast, Captain Paul suggested we stay in the bay and fish for catfish. We agreed and had a fantastic day. We caught several fish and 3 fish being simultaneously reeled in a few times. We were able to land 2 trophy sized Channel Cats. I highly recommend fishing with Captain Paul at Fishin Mission.

    Excellent Captain!

    4 Hour Catfish Trip-6 people max • 2 adults

    We ended up catching about a dozen fishes between Carfishes, drumfish, perches, to shad. 2 of our catfishes were 29 inches and 33 inches whixh wete huge! Thanks to Captain Paul for an outstanding fishing trip and telling us the history of the area as well!

You and your crew up to six can comfortably fish on my 24ft pontoon.. birthday parties… work groups… bachelor/bachelorette parties or just a group of friends who want to know just who is the best fisherman that day. We offer 4 and 6 hour trips .. Everything you need to be successful is provided . Occasionally on smaller groups or we will use my 25 foot sport craft which used often for chasing walleye. Depending on the fishermen on board and trip duration 50 or more cats can be hooked and range in size from 1-20#s. Beginners to veteran fishermen will enjoy a great day on the Fishin Mission Catfish Adventures boat..
