Captain Sam worked hard on a day where a lot of things were working against us with weather and tide. He got me the snook I wanted and got my wife an inshore slam, including a trophy 36” Snook! He worked the whole time to find us a spot that would produce. Would recommend highly to anyone who wants to catch big fish.

This was all of our first time on a charter fishing trip, and we picked the perfect captain to host it. Two things to highlight about Sam. 1. The dude knows where the fish are. 2. He was SO patient with our 5 year old son and made sure he got the first catch of the day. So he’s great with the kids. We caught about 18 fish in 2 hours (results may vary), and he even filet’d the ones we kept and taught us how to store them. We will be calling him again.

Great first trip, we were on a continuous catch, my wife and son were wheeling them in one after another. Captain was great, made everything easy and enjoyable. The boat was perfect for fishing, I had ankle surgery 5 months ago and was able to stand firmly on the deck.

The captain was down to earth, easy to talk to, very skilled and knowledgeable. He would not rest until we caught something and we enjoyed the entire experience. Just make sure you listen to his instructions and you will have a great time. His kindness and graciousness towards the end of our trip as well will always be appreciated. First time in Tampa and definitely not the last! We’d like to fish with him again.
