Captain Austin went above and beyond to put us on the fish on a challenging, windy day.  He put us onto Reds and Trout.  The boat was in top condition.  He was fully stocked with bait and tackle.  He knew the spots to fish based on tide and temperature.  Four guy trip and all had a great time.

Captain Austin was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and found lots of fish for us. I would highly recommend!!

First let me say that Austin is a nice guy, and his boat and equipment were clean and adequate. Also, having fished my whole life, I realize that sometimes the fish just don’t bite.
Having said that, I think this charter would have been better for a group of guys rather than me and my 11 year old daughter.
As far as fishing goes, we would pull up to a spot and nearly every time I’d need to ask how to fish it (cast to the weeds or wall, etc.). We kept casting and retrieving shrimp for almost 4 hours, moving every 15-20 minutes. At some point, if what you’re doing isn’t working, it’s not likely to work in a different spot, either. Switch it up and try something new.
All in all, we caught 3 fish; my daughter and I both caught 1 and Austin caught the third.
As I said, he’s a nice guy but I expected a bit more professionalism and creativity to try to coax the bite.

Enough tho the fish weren’t biting like I hoped, Austin made the trip fun and enjoyable
