Matt is a great fisherman and captain. He has tremendous knowledge of salmon and the region with top notch equipment. We got a little bonus of red rock crab because we happened to go out on a day that allowed crabbing! It was a great day on the water with Matt!

Such a fun day! First thing in the morning we caught our own bait.  We then went and fished for Lingcod.  Unfortunately we did not get a fish in the boat but lots of action throughout the day!  The other group with us was able to get one in the boat as a keeper. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect day of salmon fishing, over four hours we had more than a dozen hook-ups including several very large Kings which were released in the water.  Capt Matt had outstanding in every respect, I highly recommend Messin Around charter

Captain was waiting as we arrived, related safety concerns onboard and departed marina on time. Twenty minute trip to site and rigs in the water. Total of eight fish caught, four were keepers, and the other four were wild and had to be released, nice fish too. Captain cleaned and fileted catch. Great job Matt! Will definitely book again.

First time fishing on the Sound and Matt made it an awesome trip. He’s a great guy who honestly takes care of his customers and puts them first throughout. Looking forward to more salmon trips with Messin Around in the future!
