My 13 year old son and my father-in-law and I caught some large red drum with Captain Allen Heath today.  We tried several spots and would move quickly if the fish were not there.  We each caught the largest drum we had ever caught and kept 3 in the slot. We all enjoyed our trip.

We fish quite a bit back home in the Midwest, but had never been saltwater fishing or went out with a guide. Me and My kids - ages 5 & 11 yrs old- had a great time! My wife bought this outing for us as a Father’s Day present and it was a trip we will always remember. If you are heading to beach anytime soon, and plan to go fishing, book with Captain Allen! Also highly recommend the 5:30 trip, because watching the sun setting on the sound side was so relaxing and peaceful after a busy day with the kids, at the beach!
