We booked a September trip to cap off the summer. We spent the first 3/4 of the day jigging for large bluefish. Man do they put up a fight. We had to have landed 50 fish between the 4 of us, and lost a dozen or so more. After we had tired ourselves out we switched to bottom fishing for porgy. The wind picked up, we were exhausted from the blues and the porgy bite was a little slow. Regardless, we still landed a dozen or so porgy before we decided to call it quits. The exhaustion we felt from fighting the bluefish for a day will be stories we will be telling for a long time. Captain Joe was great and so was his deckhand Ricky. I would recommend checking them out if you are in the Stamford area…. They also offer a group/party fish charter that holds 15-20 people if you are not interested in paying for the private charter.

This was a half day trip with three teens, a 20-something and me (the dad).  A line of storms came through right during our scheduled time.  The Captain simply pushed back our time to let the storms pass and still gave us the full trip!  Great job by him!  While fishing, he was constantly helping each one of us and never slowing down.  As for the actual fishing, we couldn’t drop the lines fast enough.  The captain knew where the fish would be and we all reeled in our fill.  I definitely would go with him again.

Me and my crew had a great fishing experience. The crew was cool and down to earth. We caught alot of fish. I recommend anybody that wants to go fishing to book with these guys!

Went fishing with my sons and some friends and had a FANTASTIC trip. Went at sunset. Night was beautiful. Ship left on time. Caught a ton of all kinds of fish. Highly recommended

These guys know what they’re doing! Had a great outing on a 4hr trip Wed evening. Hooked into a handful of fish and a solid striper. Highly recommend and look forward to it again!
