I’ve been an avid inshore fisherman for years, i love it and have a strong passion for it. I live for sunrises and sunsets on the bayou and putting people on fish as much as I can. The enjoyment I see from the people on my boat makes the work I do all worth the while.
Techniques
I like to run around and throw baits under a cork unless i see the need for a Carolina rig.. Live bait under a cork is a great tactic in our area.. We do throw top water and subsurface baits as well!

I had Tina and Darnell back on board for another trip with us. Fishing is heating up in Shell Beach, Louisiana. Redfish and speckled trout are hitting the decks regularly. We've been having success throwing live shrimp rite now. But as the speckled trout keep moving in and water temps start to raise, we will be throwing topwater baits and other artificial lures to add to the fun catching solid speckled trout.

Took my kids out to run the boat after i spent al day yesterday servicing it and getting it in top knotch condition before we get busy! We caught quite a few and kept some to cook tonight! If you're not on the books for the 2024 season then you may want to start planning your trip out. This will be one incredible year for us down here in Shell Beach, Louisiana!! There is a ton of bait in the marsh and water temps are rising quick.

We've been working harder than ugly strippers around here to try to showcase our incredible fishery in Shell Beach, Louisiana. We want to let people know that our area on the east side of the Mississippi River is so diverse and offers much more than people realize. We can fish year round, literally, and catch fish. There's always something biting that is great table fare for you and your family! This trip is a prime example, this was from February, which is usually a dead month for most places. Fishing in Shell Beach Louisiana has been incredible this fall thus far and looks to continue through the winter. Plenty of bait in the marsh and the fish are there for it. We've been throwing numerous baita such as artificial baits and live shrimp under corks. Redfish and speckled trout have been on fire.

I had Whitney and her dad Terry down to fish with us again for the 3rd time this year. They are great customers and love to fish. We started the morning off throwing topwater .baits for speckled trout and picked off around 12 or so keepers. Then they shut down, we moved and switched to live shrimp and soft plastics under a cork to finish them off. We then hit the banks for redfish and found a few as the tide was coming to a screeching hault. Shell Beach has been incredible thus far and looks to continue through the winter.
