- Background
- When Captain David's family moved from Kansas to Seattle when he was just a kid, the writing should have been on the wall. His father bought a boat before buying a house and spent all his spare time on the water. Having grown up on the Sound, he got his own boat at age 13 and has been passionate about sharing his native waters with others ever since. He's spent a lot of time out of the US and is happy to welcome out-of-towners and foreigners aboard to learn all about the beauty of the area and to witness first-hand some of the best fishing in the world.
- Techniques
- I prefer to use a drift fishing technique we refer to as mooching. It a great active way to fish as you are holding the pole most of the time. Very active fishing with light tackle. No watching downrigger rods all trip. You will feel the bite! Late in the season we do offer downrigger trolling as the fish become lock jawed, we need to cover more ground to find biters!
