Rob was pleasant, patient and knowledgeable. My wife and I are beginners when it comes to fishing. We had a really nice day. Fun day! Started by targeting Tarpon, but they weren’t eating probably due to the rapid change in weather and barometric pressure. And my skills as a fly fisherman weren’t too great. First time out with Capt Rob for me and my adult son.  Rob was was at the same time both patient and funny as he ensured a couple of amateurs had a great experience.  We had a lot of fun landing double digit snook and a few other species during one of the hottest days of the summer so far. Fully recommend Capt Rob for a rewarding angling experience.

We had 3 people in our party, myself along with my older brother and mom. Little to no experience with fishing, but with Rob’s advice and coaching we were catching different species of fish all morning (nice sized snook, mangrove snapper, flounder, jack crevalle, sheepshead, croaker) . He was very knowledgeable and patient with us. Nice guy, great conversation. I can’t stress enough how patient he was with us, and how helpful his tips and advice were. Our family of 3 set out for half day without any expectations and came away with the best day on the water possible.  We got seven jacks, three catfish (including one LARGE one caught by 11yo daughter as largest fish of the day), one sheepshead, one mangrove snapper, one bluefish, and one lady fish.  AND saw two sea turtles and two manatees!  Rob was patient teaching less experienced.  Definitely recommended if you’re in Flagler Beach area.
