We are sorry that you were not happy with your fishing trip. A six hour trip is a short bottom fishing trip, providing 2 - 2.5 hours of fishing as a standard amount. We have cut bait on board but like to buy live bait on the way out so our customers have the best chance of hooking fish, and that stop is usually about 5 minutes. We do high speed trolling on the way out and back in, but the water may have been too rough that day. We don’t remember, and we’re sorry if you were expecting other trolling.

We’re sorry that you did not enjoy your fishing trip. Our goals are to have fun and catch fish. However, we consider the safety of the customers and the crew above all. You did not see black mold on the AC. What you saw was soot from the diesel engines.
The boat is actually in good condition for a 1963 Hatteras. We have replaced many parts over the last 5 years including motors,generator, steering,  wiring, flooring, and A/C. We’ve installed underwater lights and extra bunks for overnight trips.
Normally, we clean more thoroughly between trips, but it started to rain as we were finishing up our morning trip and we wanted to get your family out on the water before the approaching storm set in. In the future we will try to make customers aware that in stormy weather we may have to abbreviate our cleaning regimen in order to safely run the trip.
