A group of 6 of us went out on an 8 hour trip. The swells were pretty bad, and even though most on boat got sick we pushed through until we got our catches. In the beginning we were landing good sized Bonito’s which put up a good fight. We totaled 6 Bonita. Shortly after that we had 2 Sailfish on at the same time. My buddy and I were able to real in both, with the crew constantly working to make sure we were not crossing lines. After that we decided to cut the trip short and head back due to the rough ocean conditions. Boat was great, nice sized cabin, bathroom. Would book with them again. I’ve fished with Hector and Omar and the rest of the crew twice now both times the boat has been in perfect shape. They know the spots to go to and get there fast. They’ve always got seven lines in the water running different rigs. They’ll finish you off with some bottom fishing for snapper. Cooler full of beer and water. Cabin full of food and they do their best to make sure you have a great time.
With him, I’ve caught sailfish, 6 foot bull shark, Bonito, tuna, snapper, trigger fish, and two barracuda. Unlike some boats that all they focus on is barracuda. This time I brought my girlfriend and they made sure she was comfortable and had fun.

We booked an 8 hour trip on the Cape Escape and it was outstanding! The crew was exceptional, knew where to take us for the type of fish we were hoping for, friendly, helpful, and professional. We
caught lots of fish and often were reeling in multiple fish at the same time which kept everyone busy and entertained. The lunch, fresh sashimi and ceviche were a nice bonus too.  Would definitely book with this crew again and would highly recommend them to anyone considering booking - you will not be disappointed!!

Was a really nice private charter, the people helping out are super friendly and great at their jobs. They knew exactly how to fish for us even though the waves were kind of rough. They still accommodated us very well and did their best to let us have fun.  We were able to catch a bunch of barracuda in the bay, and we got chickened out of going into the different areas more deep due to the weather.  it was really nice to have the air-conditioned cabin in the bathroom was sufficient.

Our group had never been deep sea fishing before, and Captain Héctor along with deckhands Omar and Braulio made it an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth, fun, and full of positive energy.

The crew worked nonstop to make sure we were taken care of—providing snacks, drinks, and all the support we needed. When my daughter hooked the biggest catch of the day—a huge dolphin fish—they were right by her side, cheering her on, encouraging her to keep going, and helping her when needed. It was such a special moment, and we’re so grateful for how they made her feel!

We wrapped up the fishing a little early and they took us to a beautiful spot to swim, which was a refreshing way to end the trip. Back at the dock, they measured all the fish and offered the option to mount my daughter’s big catch. Then they filleted everything we caught right in front of us and personally walked us to a nearby restaurant, where our fresh fish was prepared several different ways—it was absolutely delicious!

Parking was free and conveniently located right across the street. This was truly a seamless and memorable day. Huge thanks to Captain Héctor, Omar, and Braulio for making our first deep sea fishing adventure in Cancun unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
