Was a tough day out on the open ocean but the crew was better than fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. This is even more impressive since we are first timers on a boat like that from North Dakota, about as far from the open ocean as you can get. They made great conversation and we couldn’t have been more pleased. The fishing out for the elusive Marlin on the open ocean caused us to come up empty but they went closer to the coast to give us another shot and we each caught a barracuda. My wife and I had a blast and would recommend them to anyone. They did their damndest to get us fish and it was very obvious they knew what they were doing.

Hats off to the crew for an excellent day!
We booked this trip ourselves during our spring break cruise vacation aboard the Oasis.
Captain David and his crew were nothing short of phenomenal! Captain was able to procure transport for 5 of us to his boat at the lagoon. We boarded immediately and were introduced to Dean and Chad who were excitedly baiting hooks and prepping rigs.
Everyone in the native trio was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. Their interactions with the children, 10-14, revealed their foundation in family and a nurturing nature that comes with being a dad.
We had 6 lines in the water about 10 to 15 mins off the dock. We opted for a trolling adventure so there was plenty of time to view the landscape and learn a bit about Falmouth from our newly found friends. Captain David had a cooler with red stripe, water, and a couple local soft drinks that the kids enjoyed (we also brought snacks and fruit from the ship).
Once we were on, we were on! We started out chasing marlin then switched to some deeper baits and got a decent take of tuna. At one point we had 4 fish on at once! Everyone caught a fish, making it a fantastic day.
After a few hours of excitement and a beautiful water tour of Falmouth. We motored back to the lagoon where our catch was cleaned and given to the local chef for preparation.
We ended the trip lagoon side with Escoviched Tuna, French fries, and fresh coconut and coconut water while we chatted with the crew about their 20+ years together fishing.
I truly couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to the people and culture of Falmouth. These guys are top notch and are certain to cater to any of your needs while visiting their home. They are a true representation of the people and the vibe that is Jamaica. I can’t wait to return to go fishing with them again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone coming to Falmouth with family or friends.

Captain David was great, and his first mate Dean and Chad were highly experienced and passionate about fishing!  They had eight lines in the water at all times and was constantly switching out lures to endure we would have the highest probability of catching marlin and/or wahoo.  I highly recommend this charter.  We didn’t catch what we were hoping to catch, but I can say without any doubt, it was not because our crew didn’t give it 1000 percent.  It was just one of those days that we had no birds, weed patches or structures out there. 

All in all, I will definitely do this charter again because I know they know what they are doing!!!

My daughter and I spent a fantastic day on the water with Capt. David, Dean and Chad. They were super accommodating of our schedule as our ship arrived late and left early. Captain David met us at the cruise terminal and drove us to his boat and we were fishing within minutes. It was my daughters first time deep sea fishing and the guys were great explaining what they were doing and what they wanted to accomplish, fish on the boat! We were successful, Sarah caught a Monster Cuda that was just perfect for her. We will definitely contact Capt. David the next time we are in Falmouth.
