Aft er 5 mins we felt like one of the boys. Very friendly, professional, hard working and accommodating. Went above and beyond to help us catch fish on a very unfriendly fishing day weather wise. I Highly recommended for half or full day of inshore fishing with him

Robert is a great captain. He took us out on a full day, the first half chasing grouper and the last part diving for scallops. Although the keeper fish weren’t cooperating, we still managed to catch some small red and gag grouper and scallops. We would definitely join him on another adventure when in Crystal River.

Started out slow in the morning but the captain work hard to find us some fish and it ended up being a great trip with lots of fish

We caught lots of trout, ladyfish, catfish etc. Robert is an excellent guide and he provided some superb rods and reels for our use, live shrimp for bait and he filleted many trout before cleaning his boat and putting it onto his trailer, We highly recommend Robert and Mermaid Tales Charter for all of your fishing excursions in the future. Between the 3 of us we caught approx 50-60 various type of fish. Most were not legal length to keep. Both grandsons had a fantastic experience. Looking forward to pos as inle doing it again in July.
