If you plan on fishing in Carrabelle, look no further than Mermaidtales Charter Fishing and The Castaway. Captain Robert will be your guide, allowing you to benefit from their angling experience.

These waters hold game fish like Mahi Mahi, Mangrove Snapper, Amberjack, Red Grouper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Hogfish, Vermilion Snapper, Scamp Grouper, Lane Snapper, Grunt, Cobia, and more, depending on the time of year. On the day of your trip you're likely to bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.

Looking to get the whole family outdoors? Kids are absolutely welcome! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Feel free to bring your own snacks to maintain your energy throughout the trip!

Your boat for the day is a 27' Parker pilothouse with space for 6 passengers. It comes with all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. What's more, this vessel is wheelchair accessible. You'll find rods, reels, and tackle waiting for you, along with lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.

You'll have the help of a First Mate to put you on fish. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.

The charter boat covers your fishing license, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.

Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunscreen (non-spray), and bottled water. If you'd like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just be sure to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
This is an offshore trip, so if you get sea sick, make sure you bring medicine.

Your trip with Captain Robert is just a click away, so why not make it happen?

Great day on the water!
3/4 Day Trip – Deep Sea on June 3, 20264 adults2 children

We had a great family fishing trip. Captain Robert was very knowledgeable and had good spots to fish. He changed the trip date due to the weather which was a very smart decision. It was a first trip for some on the boat so the smooth water helped settle some nerves. We will book with Captain Robert again in the future.
