- I have been involved in both sportfishing and recreational and commercial fishing since I was 16 and have worked tirelessly to stop illegal longlining in the coral sea. I have caught over 4000 black Marlin in the last 36 years, 450 of which have been in excess of 900 lb. The heaviest fish weighed 1304 lb. I weighed my first grander as a captain in 1990, and I am a past president of the Cairns Professional Gamefishing Assosciation.

- Dead bait, live bait, and lures. I mostly use circle hooks.
