- Background
- The captain started fishing at a very young age. His grandfather had a boat on Lake Erie. Not only did his father also have a boat on Lake Erie, but he had a Bass boat too. Needless to say, the captain didn't have a chance of not becoming a fisherman! If they weren't on Lake Erie fishing, they were on one of the other nearby inland lakes. Since the captain was about the age of 10 and onwards, he and his family have fished at least one tournament a week. Fishing has simply always been what they did and there aren't many styles the captain doesn't have some sort of experience in.
- Techniques
- My preferred style of Lake Erie fishing would have to be jigging up some big spring walleye with a few small-mouth bass mixed in. although don't tempt me with a good time. I still enjoy fishing trolling and drifting through out the summer and fall. I also cant get enough of the large-mouth bass. not much compares to watching a big bucket mouth come up through the slime and inhale your frog.
