I enjoy watching others catch fish and the new excitement each new group brings. Our boat is a double Master Captain boat with my wife Debbie being the second Master Captain. We both enjoy private charters and also doing various tournaments hosted in the OCMD area.
Techniques: We mainly troll for Marlin, Tuna, Wahoo, and Mahi. We also deep drop for Swordfish, Tilefish and Black Sea Bass.

Started off with getting a nice yellowfin tuna, followed by a mahi-mahi and then end up with a nice sized barracuda!

We had a canyon trip that had 18 tuna bites but unfortunately the shark bites were just a furious. We did manage to get 6 whole yellowfin tuna on board with just two very tired anglers! A few undersized needed to be thrown back.

Tilefish trip followed up with Mahi!

Our tilefishing trip is a shorter offshore trip. After we limited out on Blueline Tilefish this group wanted to go get some Mahi. Overall 30 Blueline Tilefish and 43 Mahi-mahi! Great day on the water.

It was an incredible day! Smooth ride out and back. In between a full day of catching fish. Captain put us on the tuna and mahi right away. Almost had a white marlin hit the line too! Incredible day 10/10 would recommend The New Release for anyone going out for a deep sea fishing trip! Thanks again

The Crew’s great, fishing was great, and the boat was in good shape and is comfortable. My only complaint is I didn’t like the style of fighting belt they use, but all in all it was a great trip that I would highly recommend.

Trey I’m sorry that you had any issue with the fighting belt but we have many styles on the boat. We normally just bring out a handful of the most popular choices. If you would have said something we could have given you alternatives. But overall your group of three successfully landed five 40-60 pound yellowfin tuna! Overall a great day and should have been nothing less than a 5 star rating!!

I’m not sure why anything less than a 5 star review. They had one friend that was seasick before we left the dock (he told me he had never been on that large of boat and had never been offshore). We hooked up with the first fish in less than an hour. Soon after that they wanted to return to the docks because the seasick person was a diabetic and they were concerned, as we were too once we found out he was diabetic.
