Great day, no fish but tried hard. The baby got to snorkel. John and Jack were great. Family friendly and accommodating. Recommend highly.

We purchased a 6 hour charter which was supposed to include the opportunity to snorkel at the end.  The first mate set the gear and didn’t adjust or touch it for four hours.  I commented that since we hadn’t had a single hit in four hours and had no real game plan other than trolling back and forth in from of the marina, we were interested in where his snorkel stop was on the way back.  The captsin commented that he was not aware that we wanted to swim even though he helped us load long fins and towels.  Perhaps he though we
Might need them for massive amounts of Gish we had hauled in.,,,
There was a single orange cut up for us to enjoy (of which the crew ate half) and a couple of waters in the cooler, far from a conscious effort for six hours.
Ultimately we called uncle after five hours of using the same tackle we had set five hours earlier…
Fishing is fishing…. You don’t always catch something, however, general delivery and commenting. How the “good captains” were having few hits… doesn’t leave o e with a sense of experience or knowledge.
Our first mate was great and was very pleasant, however he was brand new (month in) and when asked what fish he had actually brought in… he deferred.
A day at sea… that had potential for better!

The ship spent four hours just offshore. They showed no effort to catch a fish. I would absolutely not recommend it to anyone who wants to go fishing.

Very poor fishing not one strike in 6 hours.  The fishing is very overrated in Kona.  We had very expensive 6 hour boat ride.  Really should get message out to public and sportsmen but this probably not proper venue.  Extremely disappointing for all of our group!  Michael Powers
