Captain Herb was great with less than experienced anglers. We caught 9 fish in a short period of time. One 4 foot blacktip! He was informative and answered all questions. And made sure to work with people who wanted a fun experience. Would totally recommend his charter. He’s awesome!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but our fishing trip with captain Herb was so incredible that I had to share. He played a huge role in creating one of the best memories we’ve ever had in Hilton Head Island. Everything about the trip was perfect — from seeing whales to catching a huge shark and other amazing fish we never imagined we’d catch. It was an unforgettable experience, especially for our kids. Truly one of the best adventures we’ve ever had!

This is our third trip with Herb, and once again it did not disappoint. We caught several sharks. Two were rather large and we broke the pole trying to reel one in it was so large. Herb is always down for great conversation, tips for things to try around the island, and is a great teacher.. the boat is clean, he brings all the equipment and bait, and had plenty of beverages for everyone. We will definitely be back out with him next year!

This fishing trip was so exciting. Sharks are strong and really put up a fight. We loved Captain Herb. He was very knowledgeable and patient with my son who wanted to help with everything. Highly recommend. We will for sure be back (and I’m not just saying that).

Captain Herb was extremely informative and knowledgeable about the fish in the area.  He went above and beyond to make sure we caught fish.  This is the only service I will be using going forward.  5 stars sells this experience short.  Highly highly recommend.
