Trips with Fins Up Adventure Charters are fun for all ages, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You’re welcome to bring snacks!
Capt. Herb will bring you aboard a 27’ Center console with room for 6 passengers. It has all the essentials. There’s a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Herb has rods and reels for you. Live bait is included, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Have in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Your captain will help you follow regulations while you fish.
It’s recommended to bring sunglasses, bottled water, and sunscreen (non-spray). Drinks are included, free of charge. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Herb Rosenberg may have only started his own charter in 2018, but his childhood love for fishing has given him plenty of angling experience. Before launching his own charter, he spent over a decade working as a captain for other charter operators and ferry boats. One of his favorite aspects of running his own charter is welcoming new anglers and youngsters on board. Captain Herb loves seeing kids hook their first catch and fall in love with fishing just as he did. Additionally, he is a great lover of the outdoors and enjoys introducing visitors to the beauty of South Carolina's Lowcountry.
