Mahi Mahi Action in Banderas Bay

Mahi mahi fishing is on in banderas bay lately. The heavy rains of last days have brought much awaited food and washed out off the many rivers the surrounding bay mountains have, marking a marked list or line of clean and dirt water along which many of these and other species can be found, such as skipjacks or even sailfish. It is a good time still this week to go after one of these not only beautiful species but also delicious and tasty. Let's Fish On Responsibly

Outstanding half day fishing trophies in the bay, they are on and super active among ahcools of skipjacks and jack crevalles This a rare catch for a 4-5hrs trip in lur destination. Defintely worthy trying getting out there now that chances for carchjng that dreamed sailfish are very high

Mahi & Marlin Fishing’s On!!

Blue seas by Lo De Marcos grounds is great, lot of blue marlin and decent size Mahis are bitting with live bait and bonito trolling from a few miles off los anegados heading north Whereas our inshore anglers had a great time catching spanish mackarel, bonitos, jacl crevalle and even a really nice big tooth red snappers around the grounds of la antena and paraiso escondido in banderas bay

Captain and his 1st mate was Juan and Juan. They were great. Older boat but well kept. Next time we will get a little bigger boat, For six of us was just not enough room for use to to stretch out. During the 2-hours trip out and back, Besides that everything was great. Fish were active early then died off and nothing. We bought 6 bonitos and 5 Mahi Mahi with in the 1st 90 min then nothing for the rest of the day. We started off strong and had high hopes for a great haul but it just never materialized.... More
