Captain and crew was very
nice and helpful.  When my Granddaughters caught fish they were very instructive and helpful in getting the fish onboard.  Enjoyed the trip very much.

Person arranging the trip called the day before and tried to reschedule, explaining the weather would be bad. When I suggested cancellation he changed his response and said the weather would be fine. He offered to pick us up from La Paz and drop us off at Los Barriles. He wanted to over charge for the transportation. I did not agree to the price. Later he sent a text saying the driver would pick us up the next morning. We did not agree on a price. The next morning we were picked up, when we arrived to the boat they asked if we brought bait, of course we didn’t. We were charged for 5 dead fish as bait. Crew was not attentive, I had to tell the captain to change out the bait and cast it. He basically trolled the boat most of our trip did not go to different fishing spots. Captain and deck hand stayed on top most of the time, deck hand was asleep. We caught 3 bait fish and 2 dorado’s. When we were dropped off the driver wanted $300 dollars. When I refused to pay the person that set up the tripped argued and threatened me and my family. Stated “I know where you live”…So I paid what I had $210 dollars. Yes we were taken advantage of and threatened!!

No fish today. Oh well

Make sure you take money. We expected everything for the $650. Then you had to pay for bait. Only were and 2 beers were provided. Had to pay for additional drinks and lunch. All of which should be included. Or at the least we should have been notified of this.

These guys are probably typical of the overall high quality of the charters out of Los Barriles. We were after marlin, but ran into tuna schools instead - still great fun. No hesitation in recommending Anzuelo: they took us far offshore and worked hard looking for that elusive marlin. Sure - I’d go with them again.
