We actually met with Stuart not the main captain and he was great. We caught around 50 fish and had a great experience. Everyone caught fish. There were actually two crew members helping us . They also made it very convenient for us and met us at Atlantis Marina to pick us up and drop us off there since we were staying at the Harbor-side Atlantis resort. This day was exactly what I was searching for and was truly a lifetime memory maker. Our 3 boys have different ideas of vacation fun and this had something for everybody. We had a little history lesson on the way out, fished (G is still over the moon about his big catch!) and then had lunch at a little hidden gem restaurant on the beach. We booked a week or two before we took a cruise with a stop in Nassau for the day. We were supposed to to disembark the ship at 8:00 but the ship wasn’t cleared until 8:30 and then it took a good 15 minute walk to meet the boat. The captain picked us up near Senor Frogs on the water just to the right of the pier. He took us out a few miles where we bottom fished off the ledge and caught lots of fish. The captain and first mate were amazing! They were knowledgeable, made us feel safe, and kept bait on our lines at all times. We caught 19 fish and a black tip reef shark! We then went to see Turtle Island and we snorkeled with a turtle. On the way back, they cleaned our fish, then we were dropped off at The Poop Deck to have our fish cooked for us. This was the second time I got the opportunity to go fishing with Captain Charles and I brought both of my teenage sons. He put us on the fish and ensured we were well taken care of. He also dropped us near a good restaurant so that we could get some of our fish cooked afterwards. Will definitely fish with him again!
