I booked this trip as a birthday gift for my nephew, and it couldn’t have gone any better! There were four of us total, and the boat was super comfortable for everyone. Justin was an excellent guide—friendly, patient, and really knew where to find the fish. He took us to a few great spots, and we caught a ton of bass! You could tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and wanted us to have a great experience.

We all had an incredible time and can’t wait to go again. Highly recommend Justin if you’re looking for a fun and successful day out on the water!

Boarded the boat and set on for our first location
Within mins i was catching my first fish of the day! Justin helped me cast as i am new to fishing, my sons the fisherman of the family!
I caught bass back to back! Then caught my first pickerel and GAR! I never even seen or heard of these before so a huge exciting moment for me!
So many pictures and videos were had! Bottled cold water was provided for us! We headed to a 2nd location with some much calmer water and some new wildlife - Justin educated us on tons of birds around the area and we learned so much! Fishing Using live bait was super neat and new to me as well kiddo normally uses frogs lures etc! My son caught his PR with Justin - a 5 ish lb 21 inch ish bass! He was so proud, it was such an awesome day we didn’t want to stop as time flew by it was time to head back to the dock! We paid and chit chatted a little longer before heading back to our hotel! Highly recommend anyone new or experienced this is the person you want to help guide you! Thanks Justin you’ll see us again sometime forsure!

Life is about making memories. And our fishing trip with Justin Makin is certainly one that will last the rest of our lives. We (2 sons of 5 and 8 and myself) went for a half day trip. The first 2 hours we had strikes and catches in a row. Justin warned us that the second half of our trip would be less active, since the fish don’t bite as much as early in the morning. However, he brought us to the right spots to still have fun. We actually caught the biggest one right before we headed back to the boat ramp.

I caught more fish with Justin than i have in my entire life fishing. Great service, amazing boat and amazing memories. Justin really cares that you catch and have a great time. Cant recommend enough if staying within reach.
Advised us on best time of day for season and it was perfect. Even got a double rainbow. Both myslef and my son are still talking about it days later. Shame was so close to us coming home. Thanks again Justin. Brilliant.

We had an incredible time out on the water! The captain was absolutely fantastic—professional, friendly, and really knew where to find the fish. We were pulling them in left and right all day long! The boat was clean and well-equipped, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. It’s not every day you get a trip where everyone catches something and leaves smiling.
