I recently had the pleasure and good fortune to fish for three days with Noah and Darcy. When you charter a trip the only thing that is guaranteed is a boat ride and the best chance to catch fish is to be willing to fish the bite. I was met at the beach on time every morning and there never seemed to be a rush to return to shore. When you transfer from the ferry boat to the fishing boat the first impression you will have is one of pride in their craft. The boat is clean well organized and in good repair.
On they way out to fish the reef we were lucky enough to see the whales and Noah paused the boat so that I could enjoy me first sighting. Darcy’s joy and excitement of pointing out the ocean life was contagious. Seeing the dolphins, sea turtles and manta rays just added to the experience. One of my favorite was the schools of flying fish.
We first caught fish over the reef. When fishing the reef Sea Breeze doesn’t use broom stick poles with wench reels. Seven foot pools with slightly larger reels then used back home insures that what ever you caught will be a fight. You never know what you are going to catch. Yellow Fin Tuna are fast and Jack Crevalle are heavy weight sluggers.

We then started the troll for the big fish. The big fish are mostly solitary hunters. So it may take a while.
Noah is like a man with his head on a swivel. Your best chance is to fish the current. Noah pointed it out to me several times in the changing of the waves but I would soon lose it again. After a while you realized that Noah with the help of the temperature gauge was constantly changing course and keeping us in the zone. With staying in the current , scanning for fish on the surface and watching the bait.  He was a very busy man.
Darcy was constantly making sure that the boat was in order and that i was well feed ( homemade by the lady down the street)  and flowing with engaging conversation ,answering questions and pointing out that a wave splash was more then just a splash. And though I only fish one day with Julia’n. He was able, friendly and will have you standing there with your moth hanging open if he decides to go into the water.
When we did hookup with a large fish, I remember that there was no hooping and hollering. It was quite and respectful of the undertaking. I was aware of Noah maneuvering to boat to keep me in the fight and Darcy taking pictures. But it was just you and the fish making a life time of memory.
Noah and Darcy are the must professional, dedicated people working to give you the best chance to make memories that I have ever fished with. They are simply grand people.
Though there are other places in the world and other charters to be had. I will always hope and consider when planning future trips. Is this one. The time, to return to Tamarindo and fish with Sea Breeze. 

My wife and I had a great day of fishing. Even though the wind picked up Captain Noah still put us on the fish! Yellow Fin tuna, White Tuna, Red Snapper, Skip Jack, Needle fish and amberjack. The boat was handled expertly and it was obvious the captain and first mate knew what they were doing. The crew was passionate about fish and knew the water and fishing locations well. The tackle and rods were in great condition and we never had any trouble with gear. The sashimi of yellow fin was divine on the boat. The boat has all the snacks and drinks you needed. The crew was friendly and thoughtful. I would not hesitate to go out with them again! If this is your first time booking a fishing charter, ask plenty of questions including payment methods, fishing licenses, meeting time and place etc. to ensure your trip goes smoothly. Pura Vida!

I have been on a couple other charters in some of my travels and came up empty and seemed the charters did not care.  This was not the case with Sea Breeze Fishing and Adventure!  Capt. Noah and Julien were friendly and worked very hard to ensure my boys and myself had opportunities to catch fish.  We all caught firsts, such as yellow fin and white tunas, and the highlight was our first sailfish.  Noah, Darcy and Julien made this a very easy process from setting up the charter to taking care of us and ensuring we had a great time.  I highly recommend them if you are looking for a charter who will work to make sure you have a chance to catch a fish of a lifetime. You will not be disappointed!

We had a great time on our trip. Darcy and Noah were wonderful hosts. Friendly and very person able. The boat was supplied with pillows and cushions for the ride out, which the ladies really enjoyed. They worked tirelessly to get the sailfish to bite but we were able to bring home some table fare. Plenty of drinks sandwiches and burritos, plus chips for lunch and even provided a fresh pineapple.
Great trip and we highly recommend.

My friend and I booked this trip, both in our 20s, great choice picking Sea Breeze. We got the half day pm trip, caught rooster fish which were very hard to come by for the day, caught some jacks, and a nice big mahi that they fillet on the boat. They gave us a great recommendation on what restaurant to bring it to(Walter’s). Overall crew was great, friendly, spoke English, joked around with us and gave us pointers on where to go snorkeling for the next day. 10/10 expierence for the amount of time we were on the water, crew knew what they were doing and where to go.
