- "I’ve been a fisherman my whole life. I love fishing on Lake Erie, and enjoy introducing others to the fantastic fishing here." Captain Nick Cook grew up just 2 hours from the famous Lake Erie, so a love for water has always been in his blood! At 20, he considered joining the Coast Guard, but a friend asked him to travel to California with him. He said yes – which kid doesn’t want to go to sunny California?! Next thing he knew, he was 35 years old and traveling across the country with his workplace. He met his wife and took her to Lake Erie, and she immediately convinced him to move back. In October 2018 they relocated permanently, to raise their daughter on the lake and so that Capt. Nick could pursue his passion of running fishing charters. He uses his 20+ years of knowledge and experience to introduce his guests to these incredible waters, and he can’t wait to welcome you on board.
