We spent the afternoon with Captain Chappy on our honeymoon. We meticulously researched boats and captains & felt an overall good vibe from him & Flatsbroke Fishing Charters. We couldn’t have been more right. Chappy was extremely laid back, easy to talk to, knowledgeable and welcoming. We felt totally comfortable & well taken care of.  It was a wonderful sunny afternoon on the water, relaxing & catching a few fish each! We would come back to South Carolina specifically to fish with Chappy, we were that impressed!

Capt Chappy when out his way to put us on fish.  He called the day before and suggested we leave an hour early to make an hour run to catch the tide at a spot away from the Saturday boaters.  It slowed down a couple times but we were essentially on fish the whole time we had hooks in water.  We probably caught 30 red fish.  Book this guy.

The day started slow but that was because some one was in the good spot. But chappy didn’t take no time to move us till we got on the fish. This was my 1st ever inshore fishing charter and I loved it. Me and my wife had a amazing time. Chappy was down to earth very relaxed and very knowledgeable of the fish and all the areas. Will never forget this trip. He was able to help me catch my very 1st red fish. I will be booking with him once more when the weather cools down.

Captain was able to put my dad on his PB red fish. The scenery is great. Multiple species were caught and we used a couple different fishing methods. Captain is very knowledgeable and works hard the whole time. We’ll give him a call when we’re back in town.

Despite awful conditions Captain Chappy managed to find the fish right away and really took care in making sure we would have a great trip. Caught no less than 20 trout. Any captain who can catch them in wind, rain, and a massive tide can catch them anytime! Great trip.
