Captain Scott was one of the best Captain’s I’ve been fishing with in close to 30 years. Organized, professional, safety minded,  experienced, as well as insightful. Scott was taking cared of issues before they happened. We had a boat of 6 with the captain and Scott made each of us feel like each of us had our own personal deckhand. The comment of the day came from my seven-year-old nephew who said it was the best day of his life.

Capt. Scott with Louisiana Lagniappe Charters gave us a fantastic Redfish and Trout trip out of Port Eads. From the ride from Venice to the fishing his professionalism, equipment and personality were top notch. As a former Charter Captain I know the difficulty in creating a world class experience and Capt. Scott did it, even with chocolate waters and 20+ mph winds we still caught our limits of Reds, caught Bulls and Speckled Trout as a bounus. We will be back!

I booked a 2-day trip with Captain Scott for my Dad’s 73rd birthday. I don’t have many opportunities to hang out with my Dad so it was really important that he had a great time. We stayed at Port Eads and fished all around. Captain Scott put us on the fish (mostly Red-fish) and we tore them up.  My Dad caught the majority so that was cool.
Captain Scott was a great host. He took care of everything from rigging our lines and baiting our hooks to netting the fish, measuring them and cleaning them too.
The 24’ boat and fishing gear were all in new condition. There was plenty of room on the boat so we brought a cooler full of snacks and drinks. We ate full course meals at Port Eads. The whole trip was a blast. Thanks for taking care of us. We won’t forget this one.
