  Phenomenal Fishing & Crabbing Trip!!!

  We have been on many fishing trips in many states, and this was by far the BEST TRIP EVER! Capt Wade Grant found the fishing and crabbing spots with ease, and guided and coaches us to hook and land some nice catches. As fat as crabbing, I have NEVER seen anything like this except on TV with professional crabbing crews. We will absolutely book again with Capt Wade but next time we will bring more friends and family to join us in this incredible life experience. Capt Wade knows his stuff!!! Being an experienced boat captain for many years, his knowledge of the fish, the area, and the law is a unbelievably rare and second to none! Lastly, we have met many boat captians over the years that were just that (and only that), a boat captain; with Capt Wade, he is bow our Pacific NW boat captain for life and our newest lifelong friend!

  Great day with Wades World, Party on.

  The trip was great—we caught Chinook! The captain had a nice boat, quality gear, and came well prepared to work efficiently and keep lines in the water. When a fish was on, he would start barking orders, so he may not be for the thin-skinned who aren’t ready to work, but he does a great job of keeping things from descending into chaos, which I appreciated. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and we learned a lot from him. When lines got tangled or a fish was on, he worked quickly and gave clear instructions. He helped us save a couple of fish that we probably would have lost otherwise. He knows the area, knows his stuff, and his sonar is legit! He clearly wasn’t just following the other boats—he knew where to find the fish. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a productive and well-run fishing trip.

  If you’re on the hunt for trophy sturgeon, Wade is your guy. We told him exactly what we were after, and he absolutely delivered. We caught some absolute monsters! He was professional, easy to talk to, and just an all around great guide. My son asked him question after question all morning, and he was more than happy to answer every single one. You could tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and wants his clients to have a great experience. If you’re ever in the Portland area and want an unforgettable day on the water, give Wade a call.   April Crabbing Success!

  We were here for spring break and luckily we still had a few weeks left of the season. We were warned that the season was pretty much over and we may get slim pickings but we were hopeful. Lo and behold not only did we catch crabs, We probably caught over 100 crabs and had to throw even the medium ones back because we kept getting so many monsters. My son was so beyond happy and ecstatic. Wade is a good dude and put my son to work which he loved. Even if you don’t catch anything, the boat is awesome and you’ll learn a lot. Wade was very honest about our chances very knowledgeable about the tides the location and what to expect during the time of year. I cannot recommend him enough.

  Monster Sturgeons

  Full Day Trip – Half & Half on March 15, 2026 • 3 adults

  Captain Wade was fantastic. We booked a trip for half salmon and half sturgeon on march 15. While is was a cold morning and the salmon didn't bite (there was a big rainstorm 2 days before and murky water, we didn't expect salmon to bite), captain Wade made sure we got a great experience on the Sturgeon! we caught easily 30 of them and some were too big to get in the boat but worth the long fight! Highly recommend booking with Captain Wade, he is highly knowledgeable about the river, angling, and the best spots to catch different fiah!
