Scotty started by giving my 10 yr old grandson a quick casting lesson. He cast the first bait out and in less than 5 seconds Sanerson caught his first sea trout! From then on it was non stop action.we fished the flats for about an hour then moved into a canal and continued catching fish. We caught 7 species in our short 4 hrs. We would definitely recommend Captain Scotty Roe Charters. He was well prepared, had great tackle and plenty of bait. Knew where to go and what to use. When we were done he still had a well full of lively bait. We could not thank him enough! I’ve been fishing over 60 years and can appreciate a good day of fishing. This was one of the best. Non-stop action all day - Captain Scotty picked me up with a well full of fresh live bait and put me on fish straight away. A lot of really good sized trout gave us great sport on light tackle. We decided together to move on after catching and releasing more than 20 as well as a bonus cobia, small black tip and a bluefish. Before we knew it we were into the snook, nothing massive but one after another. We then went off in search of some bigger ones, found more small snook and also had a few jacks. Again we went looking for the big ones which weren’t playing today. We found more small ones and then to cap it all we finished the day in style with a huge redfish.
Scotty was a great Captain who loves what he does, he is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly and he made the day one I will never forget. The arrangements made and info regarding everything was top notch. I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone looking for a great day on the water.  I know not all days are like this but I am sure his skilful skippering was the difference between a good day and a fantastic day.

We had a great day with Captain Scotty Roe.  He was right on time with a full load of fresh-caught bait—-he’d been busy well before we got there.  Our trip started during slack tide, so the bite was scratch to non-existent to begin, but after a move to another area and with the tide coming in, it was game on.  I lost count at some point, but I know we caught nearly 20 snook from several of his spots, along with a couple ladyfish, some jack crevalle, and a mess of mangrove snapper for our late dinner.  Scotty was knowledgeable and focused on his task; he knows the waters and he has a good sense of where/when to be at a spot.  I deckhand on a charter on the left coast and have a lot of experience, and in my book Scotty is top drawer.  Highly recommend him.

Excellent fisherman who grew up fishing in the Port Charlotte waters.  We were successful on snook, redfish (one eight pound beauty), sea trout, lady fish (think baby tarpon), and jacks.  We fished (unsuccessfully) for tarpon we could see rolling but couldn’t entice them.  Great trip!!  This is the second year I’ve fished with Captain Scotty and I’ll plan far enough in advance to fish with him again.  He’s especially good with people who may not be experienced at fishing and makes everyone feel great about being on the water.  My wife thoroughly enjoyed fishing with him.  Bring the sunscreen and be ready for a great backcountry fishing experience

After we hit several spots for Tarpon with no luck due to probably the heavy rains the past few days , but we did hit a 3 ft bull shark
To save the day and have some fun Capt. Scott suggested going for large drums on light tackle
My brother-in-law had a blast the fish ripped drag and gave a good fight . We caught several of them turning the day around
The boat has all the equipment needed and is able to maneuver the tighter areas with ease but definitely no more than a 2 person party with small coolers
