I’m glad you all had a good time fishing. Sorry we couldn’t take the Maxamilian but the Federal permits got delayed due to Covid as there is only 1 person processing paperwork. We could have taken Maxamilian but we would not have been able to keep red snapper. I thought you would prefer the 26 foot boat and keep red snapper. The Fed permits are due any day. I am sorry a few of the things didn’t go as planned. However we sometimes have to do the best we can with the conditions we are given. If the bait guy isn’t out because the weather is too rough, there’s zero ways we can buy live bait, sorry but I just can’t. In regards to Mahi we just don’t have them around here this time of year. I’d love to catch Mahi every day, they are beautiful and a blast to catch but if they are not here I can’t produce them. I warned people with the cost of the rod and reel higher than it is because I want them to hold on to them securely. $580 is a lot of money for someone to have to give up for a rod you don’t get to keep. I don’t want to charge you for it anymore than you want to pay for it. I warned your son numerous times but it got ripped out of his hands because he wasn’t holding it securely as I explained to him. We caught a lot of fish and everyone had fun, short of loosing the rod. I appreciate your business and hope you understand why I can’t produce certain things you requested.

Sorry you feel that we drove out or around too much or you didn’t get the fishing time you wanted. Ride time and fish quality is all relative. Could we have caught fish closer? Yes but they would be smaller and a slower bite. The whole purpose of hiring a federal boat and a larger faster center console as you did is the simple fact that we can go out farther to get bigger and better quality fish. Hence the bruises you are complaining about, the farther out you go the better the fishing.
The gear is heavier for the bigger fish that you caught. If you want to catch perch on a noodle rod, sorry but I am not that boat for you next time. I take pride in putting my clients on the best fish possible on a daily basis and 99.5% of my clients appreciate that.
