- Captain Mike is born and raised in South Florida, growing up on the water. He comes from a long line of well-experienced fishermen. His Grandfather and father were both able to pass on their vast knowledge of everything from tying flies, scouting for bait, fly fishing and more. Capt. Mike grew up fishing & free diving locally and in the Bahamas. He started working at a local tackle shop at a young age. He has been both a Captain and mate on many fishing boats in the area as well as running a Commercial Swordfishing boat for over 10 years. Capt. Mike's love for all things water is what attracted him to become a boat Captain. In his time off he continues to feed his passion in the vast waterways of Florida, including the Everglades, and traveling to the Bahamas.
