We get asked the question often of “what’s the best time of year to go shark fishing?”. Our answer is simple: 24 hours a day, 364 days a year! For some reason, they leave on Christmas Day… Although there are always sharks in Tampa Bay, our strategies and fishing locations change with the seasons. Sharks absolutely LOVE warm water, and we use this to our advantage during the colder months. As the water begins to warm up in the summer, the sharks tend to venture to deeper waters such as the channel and the mouth of the bay.
