Great morning trip trip to the natural gas platform. Thanks to Mike with Trick’em Charters for putting the kids on the makerel. We hooked up with a few King Mackerel that hit our baits like a F-15 fighters and fought like bull reds. Gilligan even had a rod and reel yanked from his hands as he daydreamed about catching a world record. The water was a little choppy for the kids we took with us! Patrick gave us the option to be safer to fish the bay. We had a few good bites caught some smaller fish and lucked into a big drum! The trip was great fishing was hit and miss but can’t control that. The captain was good company and did his best to help us catch fish. I would recommend his charter anytime! Next time adults only and the gulf it is for us .

We went out knowing that fishing can be hit or miss…. we’ll we caught our limit for the boat in Spanish Mackerel and caught some king Mackerel, red snapper, and a spade fish. We didn’t go more than 10 mins without catching a fish. Captain Patrick is super friendly and interactive and likes to make jokes with us. Did a great job at cleaning our fish too! Looking forward to booking with him again.

Captain Patrick was amazing. He got us right out there fishing and catching fish. We had our limit in no time and came back cleaned them and packaged them all for us. Captain Patrick was outstanding! Even though the conditions weren’t ideal, he worked hard to make sure we caught fish and had a great time. He was especially great with our kids (ages 8 to 18) — patient, fun, and made everyone feel included. His boat and gear were top-notch, and his attitude made the whole trip a blast. Highly recommend!
