If you’re ready to get hooked on fishing in Gulf Shores, we’ve got you covered with Trick’em Charters 2. Having logged many hours on these tides, Captain Patrick roped in his father, Captain Mike’s experience, to tell you all about them.
Depending on the season, you might hook into Speckled Trout, Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Bonito, Sheepshead, Flounder, Bluefish, Spadefish, Cobia, and who knows what else! On these trips, it’s common to bottom fish using light tackle.
Capt. Mike believes in teaching kids to fish while they’re young, so the whole family can come and unplug for the day! Children, under the age of 10, must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. Don’t forget to bring snacks for a boost of energy when needed!
You’ll be fishing aboard a 24’ blazer bay center console that holds up to 6 passengers. It has everything you need for a productive day on the water. Your captain will provide rods and reels, along with lures. Live bait is available, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you’ll be catching it yourself.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, just show up ready for some fishing! Keep in mind that you may release some fish due to regulations. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
Don’t leave home without sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and bottled water. If you’d like to bring other drinks, just ask. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, but try to avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.
How often would you rather be fishing? Go on and turn that daydream into a reality, with Trick’em Charters 2.
