We chose our deep sea fishing charter (4 hours) with Sunrise Charters due to a combination of the great reviews and the convenient location from the Hadicurari Fisherman’s Pier, which is walking distance from most of the high-rise hotels, avoiding the need for us to take a taxi into Oranjestad where most of the charters leave from. Captain Marcelino and his first mate were friendly and attentive the entire time, and they provided plenty of cold water as advertised. This type of charter is more like a ride in that the captain lures and casts the lines, but as soon as a fish is hooked, my family of 4 took turns reeling them in. So we had a ton of fun (and caught 7 Barracuda). We trolled all around the western and northern parts of Aruba and got to see lots of sights. At the end, Captain Marcelino filleted 3 of the barracuda for us, and we took them to the restaurant near the pier (Nos Clubhuis), where they cooked them into family style fish dinner for a reasonable price. Loved it beginning to end!

From start to finish, this was an unforgettable adventure! The crew was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. The boat was spotless, well-equipped, and comfortable, making the whole trip smooth and enjoyable.

We were guided to some prime fishing spots where the action never stopped – plenty of bites and some truly impressive catches. The crew provided expert tips for both beginners and experienced anglers, ensuring everyone had success and fun.

On top of the great fishing, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with plenty of laughs and stories shared. Safety was clearly a top priority, which gave us peace of mind the whole way.

Amazing charter! Captain reached out to me right away to confirm the trip and a time to meet at the dock. The boat is well maintained and very spacious even with 2 fighting chairs. The crew was fantastic, talk about knowing the waters. They tried hard to put us on fish, constantly rigging up new lures and cutting different baits to find what the fish want, in no time it paid off, small Blackfin and Bonita kept the rods bent all morning followed by a mahi. Rounded it off with a nice Wahoo on the hand line on the way back to the dock. Overall the best Caribbean Charter I have been on. I can’t recommend it enough, I will be back to fish again!

Headed out at 7:00am, boat was clean, equipment was ready, Captain Marcelino De Jesus and crew (Javier) were very knowledgeable and efficient.  We caught Barracuda, Mahi Mahi and Kingfish!  This is our 2nd time using Sunrise Charters, NV.  Easy to find, right at the pier near Moomba Beach.  Brought my hisband, daughter and brother, they all caught fish. We booked a 4 hour trip.  We left in time and the crew was very friendly.  It was just my son and I and we had a great time.  There was plenty of room on the boat for many more people.  The boat was clean and comfortable.  With the time and the weather we only went a mile out but this was good to make sure my son didn’t get motion sickness.    We ended up with 5 bites and landed 2 good size king fish.  This left plenty of fish for us for our group of 6 at the hotel for dinner.  Thanks for a great time for my son on his birthday
