Derek was an exceptional guide on our fishing trip. His helpfulness shone through, and he made the experience incredibly enjoyable, especially for my 11-year-old who savored every moment. He really made this a great trip.

I booked this trip as an apart of my husband’s 50th birthday weekend. He went with my 3 sons aging from 15-26. They all were laughing and telling stories of what a great time they had during the fishing trip. They had nothing but great things to say about Derrek and the experience as a whole. They are all asking about when they can head out with him again.

We had the best time! Our captain Derek was very engaging, made sure we caught fish, and had fun. We took kids on our trip ages 7 and 8. They had fun reeling in fish as well. Would recommend!

Captain Derek is the best.  This was a girls trip for my niece who has autism.  Derek has the patience of Job.  He was so kind, and engaged with our forever girl the whole trip.  Maelyn is easily bored so, when the fish weren’t cooperating quickly enough to hold her attention (no fault of Cap’n) he obliged her and rode her “fast” in his boat.  We appreciate you Derek & recommend this excursion to all.  Maelyn is already planning for next year so ya better rest up.

Had a great trip with Derek and caught plenty of Small Mouth Bass! It was a great day and he is fantastic guide. Looking forward to booking again soon.
