After 7 hours trolling we got lucky and caught this marlin. Captain Ramon kept working to get us a chance at this trophy just when we thought we were coming home empty handed. We released the marlin but had a couple fish cleaned and fileted for us when we docked in less than 5 minutes. Great experience!

Captain and crew were great. Boat very comfortable. Did a great job finding the productive fishing areas.

The boat was older but in immaculate condition and everything worked. I’ve chartered many times but this was a first for a husband and wife team. the skipper was top notch but his wife was the most competent mate I’ve ever experienced.

This was our second trip on the Salty Dog and with the Captain Ramon and Maria.  We had a great day and brought our kids. Everyone had a great time. Fishing was a bit slow, but water temps were at 91° and have a hurricane approaching.  We still had a great time and caught a nice size snapper and some schoolie Mahi Mahi.

Hooked 2 marlin. Landed 1 striped 150# one! Also some Toro and a shark! This was the first time out for my 13, 14, 16-year-old kids and their mom. A great first experience for them! Thanks, Ramon.
