Me and my father had a great day out fishing with reel-axing fishing. We caught flounder,  King mackerel, saltwater catfish, a sea bass and a few others. Not only was the fishing fun got to see great views of the coast line and even some dolphins and sharks. Would deffinatly recommend to charter with!

My Family and I had a great time and exceptional weather for our 5 hour trip. Capt John was responsive in communicating with us prior to the start of our trip in regard to weather and conditions. We are from the Great Lakes area and Fish Lake Michigan 3 out of 4 weekends, so we are no spring chickens to big water fishing. I asked Capt. John for some sport fish on an offshore trip.  He did put us on some fish. We started a little slow and tried a few spots, then we pulled up lines and headed for some larger game. he put on a spot where we were able to hook up with 7 in total sharks! Being from the Great Lakes, we obviously dont get this option, nor would we want too! We caught and released 4 Hammerhead sharks, one Shovelhead Shark(sorry, I cant recall its exact name), and two Blacktip Sharks, which were keepers, along with a few other smaller game fish.  Capt John informed us of a restaurant near by that would cook the fish for us.  I must say, this was almost the best advise he had given us! Besides all of the fishing techniques of course. the well prepared shark was amazing.

I would recommend Capt John for a fishing experience to any one visiting the Daytona beach or Port Orange area.  Well worth the money.

I am a Registered Maine Guide, have experienced trips with other guides in Arizona, Nevada, Illinois, PA, NY and Maryland.  Captain John went above and beyond my expectations,  My family booked a trip on a Tuesday, weather forecast was perfect we were all looking forward to it.  We left the dock and realized the weather man was no where near correct.  We ran out about 45 minutes decided it was too rough to fish and Capt. John pounded his boat back through the swells for 2 hours to get us safely back.  Most captains, and what I was expecting, would have said, sorry wind blew don’t know what to say.  Captain John checked our schedule compared it to his and after working a 24 hour shift he took us out again.  The 6 hour trip with this guy isn’t a 4 hour ride and then a quick fishing trip.  The fishing time didn’t seem to start until we were anchored.  He was enthusiastic and as excited for us to catch fish as we were to catch fish.  Drum, snapper, grouper, cobia, sharks and a couple others i don’t remember the names of all came in the boat.  I have an injury to my left arm and he found, might have borrowed and could have bought new a reel set up that allowed me to take part as well as any other member of our group.  Sometimes you read these reviews and they’re filtered for the good stuff or only capture the successful trips.  Well this trip wasn’t about the fish or the trip it was spending the day with a good guy who truly loves what he does and takes excellent care of his clients.  I don’t care if we hadn’t had a bite the day on the water and the whole experience renewed my faith in fellow guides willing to do the right thing for their clients.

My 15-year old son and I got the privilege of spending the day with Captain John and Sean! (Mom-Son vacation) We went about 22 miles out and fished in 80-100 feet of water. Our goal was editable fish and Capt John delivered!! We caught Cobia, sea bass, red snapper (which we had to throw back) plus a bunch of others that we released including 2 sharks!  We also got to see a SpaceX launch and when we thought it was all over and we were headed back, Capt John spotted some Manta Rays which we chased to try to catch the Cobia the hitch a ride.
We had fresh fish for dinner and savored every moment!!

John was great! Put us on the fish and kept us on them. Very good and patient with my 7 year old. We had a blast.
