- I started fishing as soon as I could hold a rod and reel. I began fishing at Kyp's Fish Camp on Lake Beresford in DeLand, FL. Then, I quickly started fishing off the beaches and piers in saltwater. Once I got a taste of the big bluewater fish as a kid, I was hooked. I love the water, it's very relaxing and easy to clear your head with the fresh scent of saltwater.
