We felt the staff purposely fished in very very very deep water to avoid caring fish. When we asked if there was a fish finder in the boat we got a sarcastic reply. Captain advised us to watch our head in almost a whisper so we would bump our head. Wasn’t worth the money at all and we now feel this is a tourist trap.

First we waited for first mate , then we had to go back to dock after we pulled out because boat wasn’t functioning right ,, owner of boat met us at dock diagnosed the problem with he said he knew about ,, ran out got parts returned fixed problem, we left dock an hour and half late ,,, no apology or discount, just an abrupt “don’t worry you will get your 4 hours” witch was never the point we wanted to get out early & in early before the midday sun ,,,, the set was weak dragged the same... More

Jason, I’m sorry that you feel like you didn’t get the value that you expected. I would like to address each item separately. Even though our first mate had a medical emergency in the morning the replacement Mate was there within five minutes of our scheduled departure time. Regarding having to go back to the dock because of a mechanical issue, we are dealing with very sophisticated equipment and we don’t always foresee or know what problems might occur. Safety is our number one concern so we will not continue any fishing charter if we are not comfortable with the performance of the boat. This is for your safety and unfortunately we cannot plan sometimes ahead but we were able to keep the charter with a slight delay. Our Captain / First Mate team are the same team that we are getting five star reviews continually so I doubt that they did anything different on your trip day than they normally do to get a five star review. Sometimes customers don’t understand what is being done to get the best experience possible. I apologize if you were not better informed. We will work harder to better inform our customers. We are continually upgrading our equipment and lures. We must also remember that this is a fishing trip and not a catching trip and sometimes Mother Nature does not want to cooperate. We would like to make your experience a positive one so we would be willing to offer you a 50% discount on your next charter with us. We believe in our program and want to make you a happy five-star customer in the future.
