Very disappointed in this fishing trip.  I made it CRYSTAL CLEAR to the owner of the boat that our life-long dream and singular goal was to catch a Sailfish or Marlin.  Not sure if that was communicated to the crew (i.e., Captain & First Mate) or not?  I was well aware **hidden content** bait was extra ($$$)...not a problem as that was clear on the Fishing Booker website.  We arrived the morning of our trip.  I, again, made it clear that our goal (and dream) was to catch a nice Sailfish.  The First Mate told me that he could almost guarantee we would catch a Sailfish if we wanted to fish with live bait.  I said “great - let’s do it”.  The Captain informed me that he needed to know the night before if we wished to fish with live bait.  How the heck was I supposed to know that (it was never written anywhere in any email or on the Fishing Booker website)???  How the heck was I supposed to let the Captain know that if I had no contact with him prior to that morning?  The boat owner knew what our goal was.  Is it true that we would almost definitely catch a Sailfish with live bait? - not sure.  Is it true that we needed to let the Captain know the night before that we wanted to fish with live bait? - not sure and not sure how we could have let him know even if we had known that (which we didn’t).  Nonetheless, we headed out to sea without any live bait as the Captain was unable to get some.  We fished for a little over 90 minutes for Sailfish, then the First Mate made the decision to stop “trolling” for Sailfish but to, instead, try a couple of other different techniques.  First, we tried letting out line with sardines on the line, then we switched to bottom fishing / jigging (very difficult to do, by the way, with the boat moving in and out of gear every 5 seconds) in an effort to catch “other fish”.  Why not try listening to the paying customer?  I wanted to catch Sailfish (not bottom fish) but that didn’t seem to matter or wasn’t clearly communicated prior to the trip.  I am sick to my stomach that I spent almost $700 (with tip) and came away feeling like this.  This trip was a complete bust for that reason.  By the way, I was concerned about reviews I had read beforehand about Dwayne.  Turns out he, and his first mate, were really good guys.  Just need to get to know them.

Spoke with John direct and he confirmed live bait,  water and snacks.  Said to get there early so we could beat the rest of the charters out. We were motivated.
Greeted by a rude Captain and a 6 yr old boy sleeping across the sofa.
This was uncomfortable but we tried to go with it.
First mate ran the lines while the captain drove the boat.  First mate didn’t realize a fish had been on the line for quite a while.

First mate fell asleep
Was hoping for more professionalism and courtesy but and small attempts to make it a good time but overall just rude and unprofessional.
