Blues were feeding like crazy!

Starting out troling for some blues and Spanish got several pretty quick then died off. We started to cast small jiggs and spoons. We were getting hammered by big blues, the line would break just when the got to the boat! Put some heavy line on and that did the trick!

Big cobia

Heading out to the bridge in search of cobia. Slowly trolling along the bridge with my eyes on the water looking for cobia. About halfway down the bridge i see several cobia on a piling, we reel in the trolling rods. Come up to a nice school of cobia, have the charter guys pitch some live bait, they just could get the bait in the right position, so i pit hed a jig at them and it was perfect! Fish on!

Very poor experience, not at all what I would expect. The second engine wouldn’t start at the dock, spent 30 minutes with that, fish aeration tank didn’t work among other things. Those things were no big deal; the main thing was the captain hardly even communicated with like it was a big effort and I did think he really put much effort into finding a better spot. Overall very far below any expectation.

Sorry you had a bad experience! You said you tried to contact me several times I have no record of that in my phone? We caught croakers, Spanish Mackerel, and then only one shark, sorry to disappoint you. You all were over a half hr late to the boat. I am so sorry my battery was dead, that how things go sometimes as you should know! Thanks again for coming out and fishing with us!

I purchased the 10 hour offshore trip. Ad stated amenities in the boat that may actually have been there, “years” ago, but not any more. Ad also stated this trip was for big game, tuna, billfish, cobia and mahi. Everything we wanted!!!! Captain targeted Spanish mackerel, we said we had no interest in them, but he fished them anyway. First of all, I Never drive my boat like a bat out of hell!!!! Do you think I was happy that my motor had problems?? Do you think it’s fun for me to have to cancel trip after trip so I can fix my motor? Do you think it’s cheap to fix? The reason it took us til 10 to get back was there was only one motor and we were 50 Miles offshore!!! Common sense would say that it would take longer with only one motor. We did in fact catch fish. Shit happens. I’m assuming nothing has ever happened to one of your vehicles and you had to put a stop to your plans?? As to my knowledge of fishing, I’m not even going to respond to that. One again, you must be the expert in ALL things. I also explained what was going on the whole time and apologized and gave you a discount. Next time it would be best for you to go with one of those “other captains” you seem to know so much about!! Or maybe yet. Get your own boat and see how things go!! Have a great day and thanks for the review!!!
