Booked Fishing with Capt Keven on the Shark Boat ?
Went out and tried fishing ?  with a steep 6’ swell offshore and 20 kt winds…...
We decided it was to rough and opted for site seeing and lunch at a locals beach ⛱️.  Kevin and Pita showed us a fun day snorkeling beautiful reefs and put us on the beach for some of the best seafood ?.  What a fabulous day despite unfavorable fishing weather. I will book again when the weather permits. These Guys are Great ??

Hammerhead ????

We saw a lot of wildlife (humpbacks, turtles, dolphins). Kevin and his crew worked super hard to put us on the fish, going over 25 miles offshore to put us on the fish. After 6 hrs we had a Blue Marlin on the line and half an hour it was in the boat. Kevin organised a local restaurant to cook a feast of marlin steaks and ceviche. Highly recommend a charter in Huatulco with Kevin & his crew.

Fishing with Captain. Kevin and Tito was the trip of a lifetime. They are exceptionally knowledgeable of the fishery around Huatulco and are proud stewards and ambassadors of the community and the resource. The boat was well equipped with high quality rods, reels, tackle and had quality on board electronics. They put me on Fish quickly and consistently, and we brought 8 mahi-mahi to the boat (I think - I lost count) and lost a few others. This should come as no surprise as not only are they guides but tournament anglers for Marlin, mahi-mahi and tuna. Two of the fish were exceptionally large, but one of these spat the hook after we got it to the boat. The other was landed. They had cold drinks available and snacks available on demand. They pointed out some awesome wildlife when we were on the boat, including a sting ray, 2 species of dolphins (including a pod made up of a few hundred spinner dolphins), turtles, birds and other fish. Most importantly, they were great guys who got just as excited as I did whenever a fish was hooked and landed, taught me about the fishery and Huatulco in general and were quick to laugh, smile and crack jokes. I hope to come back and go out with them again in the Marlin season between May and July. I would not just recommend but strongly insist that people hire these guys for a great day on the beautiful waters around Huatulco. Thank you again, Kevin and Tito. I’m very grateful for getting to fish with and learn from you guys!

Capt. Kevin responded to all messages I sent very promptly. He picked me up from my hotel to bring me to the boat.  I mentioned I wanted to target Dorado and we did well.  We boated 8 Dorado with this nice bull as one of them and had numerous other strikes. We also had great sailfish action. We had a double up on sailfish.  The one broke of on spinning gear. It was amazing watching the fish jump numerous times and then we caught the other on heavier gear. We had a total of 5 sailfish follow and hit at our baits that I saw, I think Captain Kevin said there were more.  Captain Kevin’s first mate was very good and attentive taking photos and videos of my sailfish, I believe his name was Alex.  I would highly recommend this boat. Great day on the water.

My brother was visiting me and I wanted to do something special for him. So we decided on fishing (which we really dont do much at all)/ Kevintook us out and we caught “small” ones that put up very decent fights. It just seemed so easy with Kevin s knowledge and skill. Those fish by themselves would have been a wonderful trip but Kevein decided to head offshore a bit and try to get us a marlin. The day was perfect and the sea was calm. In short order Kevin had hooked a large marlin that took us a long time to get near the boat. The process is somewhat physical but we managed to get the fish alongside the boat and they brought her in. Kevin guessed the weight around 80 kilos and my brother got to cross another item off his bucket list. We both are VERY aware that without Kevin and his expertise we would have never been able to do that. If you are even thinking about going out to try fishing I suggest you give Kevin a try. He sure knows his stuff. By the way, this trip was only a half day! Thank you Kevin for an incredible experience and I will be booking with you again for sure. It was one of those days you want to remember for the rest of your life.
