This fishing trip was a wonderful experience on the beautiful Manistee River.  The weather was great, the boat was clean and the gear was well maintained.  I also want to commend the Captain on his awesome personality and problem solving skills.  This guy know where the fish were.  It was also a great experience to see so many fish in their natural habitat and to be educated on the spawning process.  Again, this trip was great, the value for what we paid was great and I would do it again.

My wife and I came to celebrate her birthday, Brad was awesome with everything. Very helpful, nonjudgmental. We aren’t the greatest fisherman and Brad made us comfortable with how to use everything. We ended up only catching one fish, but that was completely our own fault. Brad threw out one cast to show us how to use the lure and caught a huge small mouth. Definitely booking him again.

We have been on multiple different fishing trips and this was the most fun by a long shot! The river was loaded with fish that were biting, we caught multiple 15-18 pound chinook as well as a 44inch 29 pound monster of a salmon and a surprise 24 inch steelhead! Brad was by far the best and most helpful, friendly / easy to talk to boat captain I’ve ever experienced. My daughter and I fished the Manistee below Tippy Dam with Brad as our guide on September 1, Labor Day.  What a great trip!  Brad was wonderful.  Put us in great locations and even cleaned our fish.  Five stars!  We will be back later this season for the salmon run with Brad!

Despite the struggle of summer Michigan fishing and our low catch total, we were beyond impressed with Captain Brad. He was very informative, answered all of our questions about the area, made us laugh, and put every effort forth to make sure all members of our party caught something. It was a beautiful morning and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Do NOT miss a trip with the Manistee River Fishing Company!
