Your guide will be Capt. Ken Morris, a serious angler with over 20 years of experience, who’ll take you to all the best places and make sure you have fun.
You’ll be fishing from his 18’ Stealthcraft Power Drifter Jet boat, perfect for accessing all the nooks and crannies of Manistee River. The boat can take up to 2 anglers, so grab a few friends and have a great time! There are navigational electronics on board to help put you on the fish, as well as an ice box for your catch.
Michigan has some of the most beautiful nature around, and the stunning views you’ll enjoy will add to your experience. Manistee River is teeming with wildlife, and it’s a great place to come and let your hair down, reeling in some prized freshwater fish. You can expect to target the likes of Steelhead, Chinook Salmon, as well as Brown Trout and Coho. From early May thru August is the best time to chase Smallmouth Bass and Northern Pike on the Fly.
Ken will have all the fishing equipment you’ll need ready for you when you come on board, including rods, reels, and tackle. Ken’s happy to clean and fillet your catch at the end of the day, so you’ll get a nice meal out of your trip!
Kids (12+) are welcome to join in on the fun if you want to show them what fishing is all about. All you need to bring is a valid fishing license, as well as some snacks to keep you energized while you battle these trophy fish.

my nine year old grandson wanted to catch a big fish. well he jumped out of bed bright and early and was ready to go. he caught two big fish ...Chinook Salmon. the captain of the boat encouraged him and made him feel like he caught the biggest fish ever! best experience any nine year old could hope for
We started at 8 (Kenny called the night before, giving recommendations based on other's experiences this week). It was our first time chartering and it was very nice to have everything taken care of! We both caught fish, he takes you through so many hot spots that there's a really good chance you'll catch something! Probably 12 rock and smallmouth bass total between the two of us in 4 hours.
Took my 8yo son out with Captain Mark. Gorgeous day and it was my son's first time fishing for salmon. Captain Mark was patient, educational, and helped make my son's first time memorable. He helped him land 2 fish, and gave just enough help to make sure the fish was landed and that my son was doing "most" of the work. Would highly recommend.
whole experience was top-notch from beginning to end. Bill was amazing captain, had a blast, and we had a blast. Caught a bunch of fish 
Although we didnt come in with fish in the boat, we did hook up with a couple. Wild Bill was very informative and we learned a lot about salmon fishing. He has a great personality and made us feel welcome. Highly recommend him to anyone needing a trip.
